NBC Adapting DC Comics' CONSTANTINE for TV

At this rate, we're going to need a separate Comic Book Channel on cable.

Two days after announcing that Fox has ordered the Batman prequel Gotham straight to series for 2014-15, Deadline reports that NBC is adapting DC Comics' Constantine for television.  The project, written and executive produced by The Mentalist executive producer Daniel Cerone and Man of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer, was sold to NBC for a script plus penalty.  Constantine is described in the article as "an enigmatic and irreverent conman turned reluctant supernatural detective, who is thrust into the role of defending the human race against dark forces from beyond."

The character of John Constantine first appeared in The Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 in 1985 and was created by Alan Moore, Steve Bissette and John Totleben.  Based physically on the musician Sting, Constantine proved popular enough in 1988 to be spun off into his own VERTIGO series Hellblazer, which ran for an impressive 300 issues until earlier this year.  The replacement series Constantine immediately followed, after Constantine was brought back to the relaunched DC Universe as part of "The New 52" to lead the supernatural team Justice League Dark.

This will be the second time John Constantine has been portrayed in live action, after the 2005 film Constantine that starred Keanu Reeves as an Americanized version of the character.  With some elements taken from the Garth Ennis Hellblazer story "Dangerous Habits," the film also starred Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton and Djimon Hounsou.

Constantine is also slated to appear in a Justice League Dark movie by Hellboy and Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro.  The project is still in development, with del Toro giving an update to Collider in July, saying "Justice League Dark is very active.  I’m doing one more revision while we wait for the writer.  It’s somebody big, [and] we’re patiently waiting for that writer.  I think it’s worth it, I think it’s a guy we all admire.  I’m doing my revisions on my sort of Bible, on my story for the film.  I can tell you it’s the writing project I’ve enjoyed the most in English.  Devil’s Backbone and Pan’s Labyrinth are in Spanish, but of all my writing and screenplays, this was so much fun because it was character.  It was a pretty easy plot, but the character interaction, Swamp Thing with Deadman and The Demon, it’s so joyful for me to write that.  Constantine is such a great character, so dry.  I think it could be a great movie.  I don’t want to do many changes until the proper writer comes onboard."

Fox Orders Batman Prequel GOTHAM Straight to Series

Just think...Five years ago, all we had was Smallville.

Less than a half-hour after the east coast premiere of the Marvel Comics series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, Deadline reported that the Fox network won a bidding war and landed Gotham, a new Warner Bros. project based around DC Comics character Commissioner James Gordon in the days before he meets Batman.  In an unusual move, Fox has given a straight-to-series order for Gotham to air during the 2014-15 television season.

Gotham will be executive produced and written by The Mentalist's Bruno Heller and according to a series description, will show Gordon's history as well as focusing on the villains that made Gotham City famous.  Potentially, we could see villains like Carmine "The Roman" Falcone, or those unlikely to appear in a feature film, such as Mr. Szasz, the Mad Hatter, Professor Hugo Strange, Black Mask, The Black Spider, Calendar Man, Cluemaster and others.

Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, Gordon debuted in the very first Batman story in 1939's Detective Comics #27 and later was given a daughter Barbara, who became Batgirl, and a son James, who grew up to become a serial murderer.  He was first portrayed in live action by Lyle Tablot in the 1949 movie serial Batman and Robin, then by Neil Hamilton in the campy 1960s TV series Batman.  Pat Hingle played the character in four Batman movies from 1989-97, then was replaced by Gary Oldman in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy from 2005-12.

This will become the fourth comic book based series currently on television, joining ABC's Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., the CW's Arrow and AMC's The Walking Dead.  In addition, the CW is planning a possible Arrow spinoff series based on The Flash starring Grant Gustin, ABC is developing an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. prequel based on Peggy Carter, Fox has a pilot order for Alan Moore's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Fox is also developing a series based on BOOM! Studios Unthinkable.

Looks like it's your move, HBO.  How about finally giving us those series based The Sandman and Preacher that we've been wanting to see all these years?

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day Three Photos

Today was the last day of Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013. Fortunately, the Columbus weather cooperated magnificently, with clear sunny skies and temperatures in the high sixties.  As expected, Sunday was much quieter than the day before, as always, but still buzzing with plenty of activity and last-minute bargain shopping.

And yes, there was still tons of cosplay everywhere you looked.  Here's the final batch of photos from Day Three...

Rogue and Electric Blue Superman. Like you saw this pairing coming.
Jessica Rabbit photobombs The Eleventh Doctor, River Song and The Ninth Doctor
My favorite picture of the day. Don't mess with Michonne from The Walking Dead, folks.
Turanga Leela and Philip J. Fry from Futurama, with Nibbler apparently suffering from some form of separation anxiety

Ellen Ripley and The Alien. These two were a big hit during Saturday's costume contest.

I've gone ahead and updated my Facebook photo album HERE with more photos from Day Three.  Thanks to everyone who came out to support the convention and hopefully helped make it the biggest ever.

See you next September in Columbus!

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day Two Photos

Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013 had its biggest day today at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, with William Shatner, Michael Rooker, Chandler Riggs, Sean Astin, Summer Glau, Ron Glass, Ernie Hudson and others signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

I attended four panels, including ones featuring Michael Rooker and William Shatner, as well as the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary panel discussion made up of Ohio Whovians and not me for some insane reason.  The evening highlight was the annual costume contest, which filled the entire Terrace Ballroom upstairs to capacity and was highly entertaining thanks to some creative cosplayers.

Here's some of the ones that stood out...

My favorite Odd Couple of the day -- An Oompa Loompa with the New 52 version of The Joker (This guy could even pull his Joker face off!)
There were plenty of Harley Quinns, but this one was my favorite

The Ood from Doctor Who are photobombed by The Phantom Stranger

This guy's Iron Man suit was AMAZING. He won Best Male Hero at the costume contest.

Yes, FRANKEN BERRY. This guy won Best In Show at the costume contest, which was totally deserved. I wish my blurry picture did this justice.

And yes, I've updated my Facebook folder HERE with these and the rest of my Day Two photos if you'd like to check them out.

See you tomorrow for the last day of Ohio Comic Con 2013!

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day One Photos

A very humid but very productive first day at the Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013 inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center.  There were plenty of great bargains to be found in comics bins and a surprisingly large number of people cosplaying compared to the first day last year.  Also managed to catch glimpses of William Shatner, Summer Glau and Michael Rooker signing at their tables, but thanks to the Wizard World Photo Police, sadly no photos for me to share.  You'll just have to trust me they were there.

However, here are some photos I was able to take inside the convention...Enjoy!

Clara Oswin Oswald, a.k.a. Souffle Girl from Doctor Who!
Me with Darick Robertson, artist of The Boys and Transmetropolitan
Destiny from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman (Points for originality!)

Dale Horvath (!), Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead

Spoon!  Errrrr, I mean Spawn!

If you'd like to see more pics from Ohio Comic Con, I've set up an album on my Facebook page HERE.

See you back at the convention tomorrow!

Hayley Atwell Returning for Planned AGENT CARTER TV Series

While Marvel Comics fans continue to hope for a possible Captain/Ms. Marvel movie (Katee Sackhoff, anyone?), an unexpected heroine may end up with her own TV series.

Deadline reported last night that Marvel is developing a possible television series for ABC around the character Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger, played by actress Hayley AtwellThe series idea was inspired by the Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter short film, which is included as an extra with the Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray release arriving in stores this Tuesday.  Set after Carter's appearance in The First Avenger, the Agent Carter short explores Peggy Carter's life as a new secret agent for the Strategic Scientific Reserve in search of the mysterious Zodiac organization.

With the project in the very early stages, little is known about the potential series.  However, the Agent Carter short ends with a phone conversation tasking Carter with heading up S.H.I.E.L.D. with Iron Man's father Howard Stark as future S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Timothy "Dum Dum" Dugan looks on.  So presumably, the Agent Carter TV series would follow up on the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Playlist claims they have sources saying that Atwell will indeed return with shooting beginning in 2014.

If Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. does as well for ABC as planned, it's only natural that they would want a companion series and Agent Carter seems like a solid choice.  Besides, ABC did pretty well for five years with another female-led espionage series by the name of Alias...

Three Years of DAMN Good Coffee...and HOT!

Believe it or not, DAMN Good Coffee...and HOT turns three years old today.

As some of you already know, I began this blog in 2010 to keep myself writing and to share things that I hoped all of you would find at least somewhat interesting.  This past year was a bit disappointing in terms of writing professionally, but I've never been one to give up easily and I'm currently working on a novella project I hope to share in more detail by the end of the year.

And now, after 525 posts, over 300,000 pageviews averaging more than 13,000 views per month, and a lot of visitors (8,800 and counting) apparently thinking Criminal Minds' Dr. Spencer Reid dressing up as the Fourth Doctor is the Best Thing Ever, I'm about to head into Year Four.  Ohio Comic Con 2013 is this very weekend, there are new Thor and Captain America movies to ramble on about, and yes, I might have a few thoughts about Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor."

So once again, my deepest thanks to everyone who's supported The Little Blog That Could over the past year and shared links on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or elsewhere.  As you can tell by the lack of annoying ads, I'm certainly not doing this for the money and it means a lot that DAMN Good Coffee's audience continues to grow.  Keep sharing those links and I'll keep writing my usual geeky nonsense, okay?

We now return to to our regularly scheduled DAMN Good Coffee...and HOT, already in progress...

AMC Planning THE WALKING DEAD Spinoff Series

Personally, I'm hoping for The Walking Dead: Miami, if only for the pre-opening credit sequences of Zombie David Caruso dryly making puns just before The Who's Roger Daltrey unleashes his "Won't Get Fooled Again" scream.

Entertainment Weekly announced today that AMC is developing a second series based on their hit adaptation of The Walking Dead for 2015.  Walking Dead co-creator Robert Kirkman and his fellow executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert will work on the spinoff series.

"After ten years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe," said Kirkman. "The opportunity to make a show that isn’t tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing."

Charlie Collier, AMC’s president and general manager, remarked, "Building on the success of the most popular show on television for adults 18 to 49 is literally a no-brainer.  We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters.  It’s a big world and we can’t wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse."

The article also notes that there's no word if any of the existing Walking Dead characters or events will feature in the new series, so don't get your hopes up for that Daryl Dixon: The Walking Asskicker series just yet.

Season 4 of The Walking Dead begins on October 13 on AMC.

ARROW Casts Grant Gustin as The Flash

It's always the most unlikely one, isn't it?

The Hollywood Reporter has announced Glee and 90210 actor Grant Gustin has landed the role of Barry Allen/The Flash for episodes 8, 9 and 20 of the CW series Arrow, with the third episode serving as a backdoor pilot for a spinoff Flash series.

Earlier this week, Gustin was rumored as one of three finalists in the running (Get it?) for The Flash, although Matt Barr was generally considered as the most likely actor to win the role.

“I’m unbelievably excited," said Gustin.  "I’ve been a lifelong fan of DC Comics, so I can’t be more honored and can’t wait to get started."

All three episodes featuring Barry Allen will be written by Arrow co-creators Greg Bertlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, along with DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and former Flash writer Geoff Johns.  The first two episodes will have Barry in Oliver Queen's home of Starling City, with the 20th showing Barry in The Flash's world.

The article describes Barry Allen as "a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past.  A comic book fan boy, Barry is obsessed with the Arrow, unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime has brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante."

"Part of the fun for the audience…is to see how we view our Arrow take on the Flash legacy," said Kreisberg.  "Some of it will feel very familiar to DC Comics, some of it hopefully will feel different, fresh and exciting.  The same way we approached Arrow is the same way we're approaching Barry."

Until now, Arrow has had a standing rule against characters with superpowers, but The Flash's introduction changes that.  Producers said they will handle the introduction of Barry's super-speed in an atypical way.  "There will be extraordinary events in the world and the characters will react in the same way," remarked Kreisberg.

"We're also exploring a very personal story for Barry," added Johns, "life as a forensic scientist and the people around him, the tragedies and how he deals with them -- in a very different way than Oliver Queen."  The plan is to add to Arrow instead of taking characters from the series if the spinoff gets a greenlight, meaning none Arrow's existing characters will transfer over to The Flash.

Arrow returns to the CW on October 9th.

Cyborg Voice Shemar Moore Wants to Play Him in JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie

At least someone wants to give Cyborg some feature film love.

Shemar Moore, best known as Derek Morgan on CBS' Criminal Minds, is voicing the DC Comics character Cyborg in the upcoming animated movie Justice League: War and now wants to play Victor Stone in a live-action movie.

Speaking to I Am Rogue, the 43-year-old actor shared his thoughts on voicing the character and his hopes to bring Cyborg to the big screen.  "I am so excited by this just because it’s fun doing it," he said of Justice League: War.  "I wasn’t a big comic book guy.  I knew the basics of Superman, Spider-Man.  What I like about Cyborg is I got to do this about a year ago for the first time, really a fish out of water.  I had no idea, the offer came to me to be the voice of Cyborg.  He’s this half black, half white human, but he’s half machine, half human because of an accident that happened to him.  But he’s a black superhero.  But I like that he’s a bi-racial superhero because I’m bi-racial.  The president of the United States is bi-racial."

Um...Unless there's been some recent changes to the character in The New 52, Cyborg isn't bi-racial but okay, at least Moore's enthusiastic.

He continues:  "This is different because you’re talking into a microphone and you have to give all the emotion and then they layer it, create the animation which takes over a year to match to your voices and the sounds of your mannerisms.  Ultimately voice overs is where the money is at, that’s why you see these big stars doing it, but it’s really fun to do and the Justice League it is what it is.  It’s legendary in its own right, but I’d be a liar if I didn’t say I have a fantasy or wish that [hopefully] I should be able to play Cyborg in a feature film.  I’d love it if they were able to do something with the Justice League to where I could join a group of actors and go out there and be Cyborg.  This is just the beginning, but this is another avenue of entertainment that I now get in to play in and I really had a ball.  Once they showed me the ropes and what it was, it was one of the most fun things that I’ve done as far as performing."

Justice League: War isn't Moore's first experience with DC Comics characters, after playing Jesse Reese on the 2002-03 TV adaptation of Birds of PreyAnd with a Justice League movie presumably the plan after 2015's Superman/Batman film directed by Zack Snyder, it's certainly possible that current Justice League member Cyborg could be appear alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

"If I could get out there and play Cyborg, that’s the ultimate goal," Moore stated.  "It’s an honor to play a part of the Justice League family and to be on these DVDs, but I would be a liar if I said I’m not aiming to be Cyborg in a feature film."

"Every actor wants to win an Oscar," he continued, "every actor wants to win a Golden Globe and do this role and do that role and there’s so many stories I want to tell, but to me I don’t know there’s just [a] vibe when you get to play an action hero.  There’s something really fun about it and also because of what it represents.  When we go to Comic-Con you see these legions and legions of fans that just love this world.  So for me to go out there and play Cyborg, he’s just an interesting character and what I know of him thus far.  For me to be half machine, half human, kicking ass, that would be a dream come true."

Me, I'm still waiting for DC Comics to give Cyborg his own comic book series...

Scarlett Johansson Discusses Black Widow & Captain America "Pairing"

The United States of America and the Russian Federation may be a bit uncomfortably awkward around one another these days, but their superheroes sure aren't.

Avengers teammates Captain America (Steve Rogers) and Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) were photographed kissing one another during filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier three months ago at Tower City Center in downtown Cleveland.  In the comics, Black Widow has been romantically involved with other superheroes, including Hawkeye, Daredevil and the Winter Soldier, but this will be the first time fans will see the character in a relationship with Captain America.

ComingSoon asked actress Scarlett Johansson about the two characters during a press junket for her film Don Jon, mentioning that they share a couple of meaningful glances in the first Avengers film when Captain America is getting his tour of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier and later after Captain America boosts Black Widow up onto a Chitauri vehicle.

ComingSoon.net: You said earlier this summer that in "Cap 2" your relationship with Steve Rogers gets more intense. I actually went back and watched "The Avengers" again and noticed these little glances that you and Chris give each other. It's so subtle, not something you would think about unless you knew something was brewing. Was that something that Joss had built in?

Scarlett Johansson:
No, actually. Of course in "Avengers" particularly you start to see the relationships forming between these characters, and all of us have very specific relationships with one another. Of course we all know how we feel about one another. We work and all use each other in different ways. We all have very specific opinions about one another. I think that Joss laid the groundwork for a lot of interesting connections. That's why the audiences are so intrigued by that film because they love to see how these characters react to each other that come from completely different universes.

CS: It makes sense, because his character and your character are sort of the most grounded of the superheroes.

Johansson: It does make sense. The pairing is strange on paper, but you'll understand the pairing when you see "Cap 2" and of course Marvel's really good at noticing those connections too! They will continue to build on the different relationships that audiences connect to.

The official premise for Captain America: The Winter Soldier --

Following the events of The Avengers, Steve Rogers resides peacefully in Washington, D.C., struggling to adapt to contemporary society.  However, after a S.H.I.E.L.D. compatriot is assailed, Steve becomes entangled in a mystery that may endanger the globe.  Together with the Black Widow, Captain America attempts to uncover the growing machination while fending off hired hit men.  When the entire scheme is discovered, Captain America and the Black Widow must recruit the aid of the Falcon and soon encounter an unanticipated and powerful adversary — the Winter Soldier.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, starring Johansson, Chris Evans, Emily VanCamp, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 4, 2014.

Matt Barr and Two Others Contending for THE FLASH

We may be getting close to a new Fastest Man Alive.

Three weeks before filming begins on the first episode of the CW series Arrow to feature DC Comics character Barry Allen, Latino Review claims to have the inside scoop on the top three contenders for the role.

Barry Allen is expected to appear in episodes 8, 9 and 20 of the show's second season, with the third episode serving as a backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff series in fall 2014.  According to Entertainment Weekly, a casting decision will need to be made shortly.  "We’ll have to have somebody by September 30," said Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, "which is when we start shooting [his first] episode.  So there is that timeline.  But it’s been a really exciting process just getting to meet so many fantastic actors and seeing the enthusiasm that so many people around town have for the character.  It’s just amazing — I have pictures of myself at age four holding a Flash and a Superman doll.  That I’m sitting here writing the Flash and Green Arrow now, it’s more than my little nerd heart can bear sometimes."

Latino Review names three actors that have jumped to the forefront -- Matt Barr (shown above), James Mackay and Grant Gustin.

Barr is a 29-year-old from Texas who certainly has the look and build to pull off both Barry Allen and The Flash, making him the most likely candidate at the moment.  He's perhaps best known as Johnse Hatfield on the TV miniseries Hatfield & McCoys and also appeared on the TV series Hellcats and One Tree Hill.

Mackay is a 28-year-old Australian actor that appeared on the television series The Straits and will be seen in the upcoming film Singularity.  He does have dark brown hair though, which could mean that he'd have to dye his hair blond for the role.  However, it's not like we haven't had a dark-haired Barry Allen before...

Gustin, meanwhile, was born just months before the previous Flash TV series debuted on CBS in 1990.  The 23-year-old from Virginia is best known as Sebastian Smythe on the Fox series Glee and Campbell Price on 90210.  He seems the most improbable, especially considering that Arrow star Stephen Amell is now 32 and Barry Allen is supposed to be a police forensic scientist that doesn't resemble a high school student.

Of course, since these are unconfirmed contenders, it's entirely possible that none of them will actually win the role.  Obviously, we're going to learn one way or the other within the next couple of weeks and on the bright side, the casting can't be as controversial as Ben Affleck playing Batman, right?

ARROW Season 2 Trailer Teases Star City and Brother Blood

"I came back to save this city...I failed."

"You Better Pray," the first trailer for the second season of the CW series Arrow, debuted last night, following up on the Season 1 finale's devastation of Starling City's section known as The Glades.

As the song "Skinny Little Girl" by Hanni El Khatib begins playing, a brief shot hints at a possible transition from Starling City to Star City.  A sign promoting the city's reconstruction proclaims "Starling City...is a Star City!", but the sign has been vandalized with graffiti changing the word "Star" to "Scar" and telling people to "Stick the cops" and "Kill the killers."

"We all lost something in this fight," continues the voiceover as Oliver surveys the city from his car, noticing more graffiti on a wall that reads "Elect Blood" and "Vote Blood."  This, of course, is a tease for DC Comics villain Brother Blood, who will be introduced as Sebastian Blood, played by former True Blood actor Kevin Alejandro.

"We lost the battle, but we will win the war."  Oliver gets a new compound bow as his allies John Diggle and Felicity Smoak look on.  "What doesn't kill me only makes me...sharper."

"The Hood's copycats...They don't have your restraint," warns Diggle of additional vigilantes apparently inspired by Oliver.  We then see Laurel Lance punching out a bad guy, only to end up getting a gun pulled on her.  Some Flashback shots follow of Oliver stick fighting with Slade Wilson and kissing Shado.  Later on, we see a couple of fleeting images of Caity Lotz as Black Canary.

"You've changed," remarks Kelly Hu's character China White as she confronts The Hood with a shadowy male figure that may or may not be Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger.  "I'm trying another way," replies Oliver.

Arrow returns to the CW on Wednesday, October 9th at 8 p.m. EST.  If you'd like to view the trailer, you can check it out below thanks to YouTube user Televisionpromosdb...

Tom Hiddleston Wants a Loki vs. Hulk Rematch

It seems the "puny god" still has a score to settle with a certain emerald Avenger.

Actor Tom Hiddleston spoke with MTV News about his upcoming return this fall as the mischievous Loki in Thor: The Dark World and what he hopes for the character's future.  "It's a roller coaster, no question," Hiddleston said of the sequel.  "It's full of ups and downs and loop-de-loops and twists and turns.  It will take you to places you haven't seen before."

"Loki has a very complicated relationship with Thor," remarked Hiddleston of his role in the movie. "He is an agent of chaos without equal in the world he inhabits. He knows his true nature. He knows he doesn't belong in the family of Asgard, and he's locked away in the beginning of the film in the deepest, darkest recesses of the dungeon as public enemy number one."

The movie sees Loki's foster brother Thor faced with the threat of Malekith the Accursed, leader of the Dark Elves.  Thor seeks Loki's aid in stopping Malekith, freeing him from his Asgardian prison after the events of the first Avengers film.  "Lo and behold, Asgard needs his help," teased the actor.  "That's going to be a very complicated allegiance."

However, Loki's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Thor: The Dark World remains uncertain.  James Spader was recently cast as the lead villain Ultron in The Avengers: The Age of Ultron and director Joss Whedon confirmed that Loki will not be appearing in the Avengers sequel.  However, Hiddleston added that he would like to see a specific rematch at some point.

"I do feel like there's some unfinished business between Loki and the Hulk," he said.  "I feel like he didn't get a fair fight."

Gee, you think?

"Who knows," added Hiddleston. "You'll have to see what happens in The Dark World to find out where Loki finishes up."
