Disney+ Debuts First Look Teaser Trailer for MOON KNIGHT

 
Marc Spector is about to be devoured by the voices in his head.

As part of the Marvel Studios presentation for Disney+ Day 2021, the Disney+ streaming service has released a teaser trailer for Moon Knight, the upcoming TV series based on the Marvel Comics superhero.

Starring Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight/Marc Spector, Moon Knight will be a globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.

The 40-second teaser trailer opens with Marc Spector opening his eyes then staring at a glass case in a museum room with Egyptian artifacts before walking away while his reflections remain in the glass.

As we see an unmasked Marc in costume struggle to reach his feet by placing his hands on the window of a nearby subway car, we hear a voiceover of Marc with a British accent, presumably one of his other personas. He says, "I can't tell the difference between my waking life and dreams."

We then see Marc discover something shocking in a storage locker somewhere, before going to a separate scene where we can see Moon Knight from behind, brutally beating someone with his fists.

"The voice...in your head...it devours you," says Marc in another ominous voiceover.

As the crescent moon shines brightly in the night sky, we see Moon Knight leaping from one rooftop to other, followed by an explosion at a convenience store, Moon Knight raising himself up from the floor, Marc with a face spattered with blood suddenly waking to find himself standing above three unconscious people, Marc racing from the storage locker with something in his right arm, and someone being quickly pulled into a deep, dark hole in a cavern.
