Hello again, everyone! My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back for another new episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast! This time, we discuss "Snakedance", the second serial from Doctor Who Season 20 in 1983, featuring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Janet Fielding as Tegan Jovanka, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, and the return of the Mara!

Eliot poem "The Waste Land", Episode 4 being considerably overrun and having to be restructured, Tegan giving the Doctor coordinates to the planet Manussa, finally getting to see another room in the TARDIS beside the Console Room, the Fifth Doctor being oblivious to Nyssa's ugly new outfit, the Doctor and Nyssa's concern for Tegan, Jesse not realizing that Doctor Octopus counted his legs as part of his eight appendages, the Manussans creating the Mara out of their own fear and rage, the Doctor and Dojjen sharing telepathic contact instead of simply talking, Tanha failing as a mother and letting Lon turn into a spoiled brat, Chela as a potential Almost Companion, Janet Fielding getting another chance to play a villain, the CGI upgrade to the Mara in the special edition blu-ray set, the possibility that Babylon 5 creator J.
