According to AMC Theaters, the classic 1985 film Back to the Future will be returning to their theaters for two digitally remastered 25th anniversary screenings on Saturday, October 23rd at 12:30 p.m. and Monday, October 25th at 7:00 p.m. October 25th is, quite appropriately, the day depicted early on in the movie before Marty McFly meets Doctor Emmett Brown at Twin Pines Mall later that evening and goes back in time to 1955.
The screenings will take place on 158 screens in over 40 cities and all who attend will receive a full-sized poster commemorating the 25th anniversary with their ticket purchase, while supplies last. Also, each theater will have special movie-related giveaways prior to the movie.
Apparently, you can check to see if an AMC theater near you is screening the film by checking HERE and entering your zip code in the search field. If nothing comes up, chances are the film will not be playing in your area.
