"Merrick, I'm not gonna croak that easily. I have something that the other girls didn't have."
"And what might that be, pray?"
"My keen fashion sense."
"Oh, vampires of the world beware."
-- Buffy Summers and Merrick Jamison-Smythe, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)

Hello again, movie fans!  My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This timewe're joined by special guest Christine Peruski as we watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the 1992 comedy horror film directed by Fran Rubel Kuzui, starring Kristy Swanson as Buffy Summers, Rutger Hauer as Lothos, Donald Sutherland as Merrick Jamison-Smythe, and Paul Reubens as Amilyn!

This time, Xan, Christine and I discuss things like Xan untangling a necklace, our tribute to the late Paul Reubens, the problematic Joss Whedon, whether we watched the Buffy movie or the TV series first, Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman, Tom Hanks not having any secrets in his closet, my attending the University of Central Florida while Kristy Swanson was there filming Dream Trap, Xan being a fan of My So-Called Life, Christine being too snarky and overly critical to be Generation X, being in awe of Xan's Simpsons trivia knowledge, Beverly HIlls 90210 being THE show, AMC having stale popcorn, all the Hemery High School cheerleaders having camel toe, the TV series pilot referencing the gym burning down from the original movie script, Xan crushing on Donald Sutherland, Merrick creeping around the girls' locker room, the cameo by Leo Johnson from Twin Peaks, wondering why Pike has a snowbrush in California, Buffy wearing boots with her formal dance dress, Christine acting in a independent vampire movie, my being the East German judge, new Drunk Mail from Dave Proctor and Christine Peruski (!), Paulina Porizkova in Her Alibi, Colin Firth in Kingsman: The Secret Service, returning to our Ghostwood roots by watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and more!
