Hello again, everyone! My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back with a new episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast! This time, we're joined by special guest companion Holly Mac as we discuss Jodie Whittaker's era as the Thirteenth Doctor, exploring the highs and lows from Doctor Who Series 11 through 13 and the 2022 Specials!

In this episode, Jesse, Holly and I discuss things like this being the first time we've discussed an entire era of the Doctor in one episode, Jodie having a lot of obstacles in front of her, wondering why Chris Chibnall didn't use more legacy writers from previous eras, giving Chibnall credit for trying to be innovative with the show...whether you liked it or not, giving Chibnall credit for embracing the classic era in "The Power of the Doctor", wondering how the total length of Jodie's screentime as the Thirteenth Doctor stacks up against previous Doctors, Series 11 introducing the Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz, Graham and Ryan, Jesse being able to cosplay as Graham O'Brien, our favorite episodes from each season/series, Jodie's era featuring a lot of historical figures, Jodie's gender-neutral costume as the Thirteenth Doctor, the smaller TARDIS console room compared to recent console rooms, wishing that Tosin Cole had returned to film a closing YouTube video as Ryan, Series 12 introducing Sacha Dhawan's Master, Ashad and the Fugitive Doctor, the controversial decision to introduce the Timeless Child and other incarnations before William Hartnell's First Doctor, the return of John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, Michelle Gomez balancing the Master's insanity better than John Simm or Sacha Dhawan, Ashad the Lone Cyberman being the best original villain from Jodie's era, Series 13: Flux introducing John Bishop as Dan Lewis and featuring the first season-long storyline since "The Trial of a Time Lord" in 1986, the COVID-19 global pandemic affecting the production of new episodes, the fantastic cliffhanger at the end of "Village of the Angels", the Sontarans being the Klingons of Doctor Who, the tragic death of Professor Jericho, Chibnall giving fans what they wanted in "The Power of the Doctor", whether "The Power of the Doctor" was a satisfying conclusion to Jodie's era, wondering if Big Finish could redeem Jodie's Doctor in some fans' eyes the way they did with Colin Baker, Holly's thoughts on "The Power of the Doctor", new feedback from Dave Proctor, Jesse doing 30 podcasts in 30 days, why the timing is right to finally discuss "Time-Flight", and more!
