Hello again, movie fans! My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we're joined by special guest Christine Peruski as we watch Tremors, the 1990 monster comedy horror film directed by Ron Underwood, starring Kevin Bacon as Valentine "Val" McKee, Fred Ward as Earl Bassett, and Finn Carter as Rhonda LeBeck!
In this episode, Xan, Christine and I discuss things Xan getting a lot of police traffic in her neighborhood, my watching Tremors for the first time, the godawful Will Smith movie version of The Wild Wild West, Kevin Bacon being in the original Friday the 13th movie, Fred Ward as Remo Williams in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Michael Gross as Steven Keaton on Family Ties, Ariana Richards not returning for the last Jurassic World movie, Tremors being released in theaters in January 1990, Tremors doing better on home video than it did in the theater, the town of Perfection not growing in population or infrastructure, Xan wanting Yeti to make a toilet bowl cooler, Bibi Besch as Dr. Carol Marcus from Star Trek II, Kevin Bacon's almost mullet, Rhonda being the smartest person in town, Rhonda not shaving her legs, Val's plan straight out of Looney Tunes, Xan's webcam giving us a shot of her cleavage, Xan running down her list of phobias, Xan and I planning to go to the Twin Peaks restaurant in Columbus, pinball being a harsh mistress, the passing of Tina Turner, and more!
