"A hit. You have sank my battleship!"
-- Death, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
Hello again, movie fans! My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we watch Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, the 1991 science fiction comedy directed by Pete Hewitt, featuring the return of Alex Winter as Bill S. Preston, Esq and Keanu Reeves as Ted "Theodore" Logan, and the introduction of William Sadler as Death!
This time, Xan, and I discuss things like digressing into Ghostwood: The Twin Peaks Podcast, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure being our most downloaded episode of Drunk Cinema ever, the Top 5 Gen X movies, Airplane II: The Sequel, Chelcie Ross as Eddie Harris in Major League, finally getting Pam Grier, wondering why the sequel had new princesses, Hal Landon Jr. as the Pencil Machine Operator in David Lynch's Eraserhead, David Newman vs. Thomas Newman, the original title Bill & Ted Go to Hell being a much better title, the name Station being the result of a leftover editing typo, events in the film mirroring the Star Trek episode "Arena", Who Watches the Wild Stallyns?, Missy divorcing Bill's dad and marrying Ted's dad, Ronnie James Dio popularizing the devil's horns hand sign, Xan's issues with Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, playing Clue while watching Clue, wondering why Heaven is mostly white, Death recording a solo album, new Drunk Mail from Dave Proctor and Christine Peruski, my upcoming story for DC Comics, and more!
