NEXT STOP EVERYWHERE 299: "The Day of the Doctor: Revisited" Is Up!

"You know the sound the TARDIS makes? That wheezing, groaning? That sound brings hope wherever it goes."
"Yes. Yes, I like to think it does."
"To anyone who hears it, Doctor. Anyone, however lost. Even you."
-- The Moment and The War Doctor, Doctor Who: "The Day of the Doctor"

Hello again, everyone! My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back with a new episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast! This time, we're joined by special guest companion Dave Proctor as we watch "The Day of the Doctor", the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special from 2013, featuring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, and Sir John Hurt as the War Doctor!

In this episode, Jesse, Dave and I discuss things like Jesse being excited about his Texas Rangers, Dave being let down by his Denver sports teams, Jesse and I originally discussing "The Day of the Doctor" way back in Episode 50, Matt Smith not being Dave's favorite Doctor, wondering why we haven't received the airdates for the 60th Anniversary specials yet, wondering what previous Doctor Who episodes will be available on Disney+, Sir John Hurt's War Doctor being a replacement for Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor, wondering how UNIT knew where the TARDIS was going to be to pick it up with a helicopter, the War Doctor being the Doctor the other incarnations don't talk about, the barn on Gallifrey where the Doctor spent time as a child, Billie Piper's The Moment flirting with the War Doctor, the return of the Zygons for the first time since 1976's "Terror of the Zygons", the great screen chemistry between Matt Smith and David Tennant, Osgood being popular with Doctor Who fans, the Eleventh Doctor thinking of the War Doctor when he regenerated into the Twelfth Doctor, stopping everything in its tracks so the Tenth Doctor could marry Queen Elizabeth I, Matt Smith and David Tennant's synchronized sitting, the Zygon subplot teaching the Doctors that there's another way, Ten and Eleven finding respect for the War Doctor, Tom Baker being an aged Fourth Doctor in "Shada", wondering if Christopher Eccleston will come back to Doctor Who when he's 90, the unique Doctor Who theme arrangement in the closing credits, new feedback from Sandi from Oregon, my warning for Jesse's Texas Rangers making the World Series, and more!
