DRUNK CINEMA 068: "Horror of Dracula" Is Up!

"Is there no other way? It's horrible."
"Please try and understand this is not Lucy, the sister you loved. It's only a shell possessed and corrupted by the evil of Dracula. To liberate her soul and give her peace, we must destroy that shell for all time. Believe me, there is no other way."
-- Arthur Holmwood and Dr. Van Helsing, Horror of Dracula

Hello again, movie fans!  My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we're watching Horror of Draculathe 1958 gothic horror film directed by Terence Fisher, starring Christopher Lee as Count Dracula, Peter Cushing as Dr. Van Helsing, Michael Gough as Arthur Holmwood, and Melissa Stribling as Mina Holmwood!

This time, Xan, and I discuss things like Xan celebrating a wedding anniversary, Xan and her husband Chris watching Logan's Run as an anniversary tradition, ranking the best Christopher Lee Dracula films from Hammer, Peter Cushing as "Dr. Who" in Dr. Who and the Daleks, Michael Gough as Alfred Pennyworth in Batman (1989) and the Celestial Toymaker on Doctor Who, Hammer Productions filming on the cheap, The House That Dripped Blood, our easy decision to buy digital copies of Horror of Dracula, the vampire babe with a mullet, Hammer only being able to afford one Bride of Dracula instead of three, the low-energy tavern, Christopher Lee being a miniatures gamer, Dracula making a booty call, Christopher Lee bringing an erotic element to the role of Dracula, Lucy's doctor getting called out by a little girl, Michael Gough arching his eyebrow, wondering if there was some film code that prevented women from being staked through their boobs, Xan trying Coke Zero Oreos, Dracula working on his cardio, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing being friends with Vincent Price, new Drunk Mail from Christine Peruski, Hudson Hawk, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure being our most downloaded episode of Drunk Cinema ever, Wolverine being a dick sometimes, and more!
