Hello again, everyone! DJ Nik and I are back for another new episode of The Fandom Zone Podcast! This time, we discuss "Sic Semper Systema", the fourth episode of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, featuring Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, Vincent D'Onofrio as The Kingpin/Wilson Fisk, the debut of Muse, and the return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher/Frank Castle!

In this episode, DJ Nik and I talk about things like writer David Feige not being related to Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, Matt taking another step to donning the Daredevil uniform once again, wondering what condition Matt will be in mentally when he becomes Daredevil again, "Sic Semper Systema" being a play on the phrase "Sic Semper Tyrannis", some comics background on the Punisher, Angela del Toro and Muse, Jon Bernthal originally quitting Daredevil: Born Again but agreeing to return after Dario Scardapane was brought in to oversee the creative overhaul, wanting to see documentaries on the original version of the show, Angela calling out Matt for not doing anything about her uncle Hector's murder, wondering if Angela will get her hands on the White Tiger amulet, Leroy Bradford getting busted by the NYPD for stealing Fiddle Faddle from a bodega, the great social commentary of pointing how cities will pay far more to prosecute poor people stealing food than actually feeding them, Matt's clever use of his powers to track down the bullet casing, Frank Castle being a recluse, Frank calling out Matt for Bullseye getting life in prison while Foggy's dead, everything feeling more intense because Bernthal is so intense, Matt getting some sweet lovin' down by the fire, Matt deciding to leave Heather in his bed to go play with his billy club, BB Urich getting Daniel Blake drunk at a club, Sheila Rivera being the naysayer for Mayor Fisk's Red Hook project, Mayor Fisk identifying with Daniel Blake, Mayor Fisk's personal hell of having to sit and listen to kids singing Starship's "We Built This City", Heather asking Vanessa if she feels safe around Wilson, our being surprised that Adam is still alive, my identification of who's playing Muse, Daredevil: Born Again not approaching the Hannibal TV series in terms of art, getting two episodes of Daredevil next week, our favorite quotes of the episode, new Fandom Zone Fan Mail from Dave Proctor, Jesse Jackson and Aaron Case, teasing my upcoming return to Gold Standard: The Oscars Podcast, and more!
