Neil Gaiman will show you terror in a handful of dust...again.
Variety is reporting that Audible has announced the full cast for The Sandman: Act II, the upcoming second audio production of Neil Gaiman's seminal DC Comics/VERTIGO series The Sandman. Adapted and directed once again by Dirk Maggs, the production will cover the next three Sandman graphic novels -- Season of Mists, A Game of You, and Fables & Reflections.
With Gaiman returning as The Narrator, the production stars returning actors James McAvoy as Morpheus/Dream, Kat Dennings as Death, Miriam Margolyes as Despair, Michael Sheen as Lucifer Morningstar, Andy Serkis as Matthew the Raven, Arthur Darvill as William Shakespeare, and Joanna Lumley as Lady Johanna Constantine.
Notable newcomers include Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale, The Batman, Westworld) as Destiny, Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton) as Orpheus, Brian Cox (X2: X-Men United, Manhunter, Troy) as Augustus, Emma Corrin (The Crown, Pennyworth) as Thessaly, John Lithgow (The Crown, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, 3rd Rock from the Sun) as Emperor Joshua Norton, David Tennant (Doctor Who, Good Omens, Jessica Jones) as Loki, Bill Nighy (Shaun of the Dead, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)) as Odin, Kristen Schaal (Bob's Burgers, Toy Story 3 & 4, The Daily Show) as Delirium, Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma) as Merv Pumpkinhead, and Niamh Walsh (Good Omens, Jekyll and Hyde) as Nuala.
