Hello again, movie fans! My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we watch Jaws, the 1975 thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Roy Scheider as Chief Martin Brody, Robert Shaw as Quint, Richard Dreyfus as Matt Hooper, and Lorraine Gary as Ellen Brody!
This time, Xan and I discuss things like Xan having a very big week, why Xan chose this movie, the USS Indianapolis being attacked in 1945, needing to watch Doctor Detroit, Roy Scheider as Captain Nathan Bridger in SeaQuest DSV, the Salsa Shark from Clerks, the John Williams score implying that the shark is there without seeing it, people in Martha's Vineyard wearing sweaters in July, Harry's bad hat, needing to study the boating regulations, this not being a boat accident, Mayor Vaughn needing a recall election, Xan's ranking of convenience stores, looking for black people in Amity Island, using OId Spice to get rid of the chum bucket smell, my seeing the Jaws background tank at Universal Studios Florida, Quint's Indianapolis scene, why "port" and "starboard" are used instead of "left" and "right" on a boat, needing to watch a Denzel Washington movie, Roy Scheider and John Williams against nature, new Drunk Mail from Christine Peruski, and more!
