DRUNK CINEMA 052: "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" Is Up!

"Do you think that if you were falling in space...that you would slow down after a while, or go faster and faster?"
"Faster and faster. And for a long time you wouldn't feel anything. And then you'd burst into fire...forever. And the angels wouldn't help you."
-- Donna Hayward and Laura Palmer, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

Hello again, movie fans!  My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This timewe're watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Methe 1992 psychological horror film directed by David Lynch, featuring Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer, Ray Wise as Leland Palmer, Moira Kelly as Donna Hayward, and Kyle MacLachlan as Special Agent Dale Cooper!

This time, Xan and I discuss things like my mom passing away, Fire Walk With Me being the source of a lot of our pop culture references, Fire Walk With Me being our first David Lynch film on Drunk Cinema, people who went to see Fire Walk With Me in theaters without watching Twin Peaks first, my being jealous of Xan's copy of Julee Cruise's Floating into the Night on vinyl, the theory that "Lil" was Diane Evans in disguise, Sam Stanley being very literal, hearing about that little girl who got murdered, my surprise at there being music in Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" music video, our sadness at never learning what happened to Special Agent Chester Desmond after he finds the mound of dirt, not having an explanation of how James and Laura hooked up, our old Ghostwood: The Twin Peaks Podcast game "BOB or Leland?", the Log Lady's ominous message to Laura, giving credit to Sheryl Lee for making out with Walter Olkewicz, Xan being triggered by Frank Silva as BOB, the angels abandoning Laura, new Drunk Mail from Aaron Case, my favorite female Bond villain, and more!
