Hello again, everyone!  My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back with a new episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast!  This time, we discuss "Colony in Space", the fourth serial from Doctor Who Season 8 in 1971, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Katy Manning as Jo Grant, Roger Delgado as the First Master, and Bernard Kay as Caldwell!

In this episode, Jesse and I discuss things like Jesse wanting to discuss a classic story with Jo Grant, the Third Doctor finally getting to leave Earth for a little bit during his exile, Roy Skelton being one of the first Cyberman voices, Terrance Dicks hating the premise of the Doctor being exiled on Earth, "Colony in Space" essentially being two separate stories in one, Jo's initial reluctance about travelling in time and space, the Third Doctor's wanderlust overriding Jo's wishes to return to Earth, the Time Lords manipulating the Doctor to stop the Master from getting the doomsday weapon, the Interplanetary Mining Corporation trying to drive the colonists off planet by scaring them with images of a giant lizard, Wilfred Norton acting as an undercover agent for the IMC, the Uxarieus colonists trusting that the Ajudicator will side with them over the IMC, the Master having his own agenda of getting the doomsday weapon, the Master being a Bond villain to Jon Pertwee's James Bond, getting to see the inside of the Master's TARDIS, Ashe sacrificing himself to save the other colonists, our favorite quotes of the story, the Doctor's French Drop coin magic trick, my Reverse the Reverse the Polarity segment, the Guardian's freaky little baby body, new listener feedback from Holly Mac and Terri Stevens, Jesse butchering more quotations, and more!
