DRUNK CINEMA 024: "28 Days Later" Is Up!

Hello again, movie fans!  My wonderful co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we watch 28 Days Laterthe 2002 zombie apocalypse film directed by Danny Boyle, featuring Cillian Murphy as Jim, Naomie Harris as Selena, Brendan Gleeson as Frank, and Christopher Eccleston as Major Henry West!

In this episode, Xan and I discuss things like Xan crushing it at the Louisville Arcade Expo Battle of the Belles Women's Pinball Tournament, pinball dudes not liking ladies encroaching on their territory, Tango soft drinks, Smithwick's Irish Red ale, Xan and Chris celebrating Mărțișor, my trip to Cardiff, Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor on Doctor Who, Event Horizon having lazy copout writing, Charlize Theron being the most beautiful woman alive, Don Henley vs. Glenn Frey, the Six Million Dollar Man doll figure, Xan not being a fan of Rage Against the Machine, Xan being happy to see Cillian Murphy's junk, zombie culture appropriation, the Infected being faster than regular zombies, 28 Days Later reviving the zombie genre, Jim finding out that his parents committed suicide, wondering why Frank said it wasn't raining in London while you can see storm clouds in the distance, Frank being a connoisseur of single malt whisky, Frank foolishly looking up as an Infected drips blood into his eye, Major West turning one of his own men into a science experiment, 28 Days Later making a Simpsons reference before Xan, Major West wanting to use Selena and Hannah as baby factories to repopulate the Earth, Jim using infected Private Mailer to murder Mayor West's soldiers, Xan and I discussing Carel Struycken in The Addams Family movie on Ghostwood: The Twin Peaks Podcast, Xan struggling to find Mannequin on streaming even though she owns the DVD, our upcoming watch of Galaxy Quest, and more!
