Hello again, everyone!  It's time for another new episode of The Fandom Zone Podcast!  This time, DJ Nik and I discuss "The Variant", the second episode of the Disney+ series Loki, featuring Tom Hiddleston as Loki Laufeyson, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, and introducing Sophia Di Martino as The Variant!

In this episode, DJ Nik and I talk about things like how I celebrated my 52nd birthday, Nik's Montreal Canadiens surprising everyone in the NHL playoffs, finally being able to play the Loki game after last episode's introduction of the pieces and rules, Sasha Lane in the Hellboy remake, OshKosh B'gosh jeans, wondering if "Lady Loki" is actually Sylvie Lushton from the Young Avengers, Hunter B-15 being the strict authority figure for Loki to rail against, Loki now wearing a tie and a green and yellow field jacket, the TVA being anachronistic in their office equipment, Loki sabotaging Mobius' salad to demonstrate his theory that variant energy can't be detected in an apocalypse, Loki and Mobius going back to Volcano Day to test Loki's theory, Mobius being the first person to take an active interest in getting to know Loki as a person, Loki's last-minute decision to jump through the time door after The Variant, Ravonna handing Mobius the Franklin D. Roosevelt High School Pen, Ravonna having another secret TVA analyst on the side that Mobius doesn't know about, various references to blue that might be hinting at Kang the Conqueror, Loki trying to find out where the Time Keepers are, what's going to happen whenever we finally get Mephisto, the South getting all the cataclysmic disasters, Loki not being entirely sold that The Variant is Lady Loki, The Variant's attempt at misdirection by carpet bombing the Sacred Timeline, our favorite quotes of the episode, Disney+ shifting their new TV episodes to Wednesdays, Titans Season 3 finally getting a premiere date and a teaser trailer, new Fandom Zone Fanmail from Holly Mac and Dave Proctor, Daleks being able to go up and down stairs now unlike ED-209 from RoboCop, and more!
