Hey there, movie fans!  My wonderful & strange co-host Xan Sprouse and I are back with a new episode of Drunk Cinema! This time, we're joined by special guest Christine Peruski as we watch The Princess Bridethe 1987 adventure comedy film based on the novel by William Goldman, directed by Rob Reiner, featuring Cary Elwes as Westley, Robin Wright as Buttercup, and Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya!

In this episode, Xan, Christine and I discuss things like Xan going to the Found Footage Festival, Christine taking a break from school, Xan watching The Princess Bride for the first time only three years ago, Christine being horrified that the younger generation doesn't know who Jim Henson is, Danny Elfman and Tim Burton having a falling out, Xan's Andre the Giant mug, Columbo never washing his trenchcoat, the score by Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler agreeing to score the film on the condition that Rob Reiner include the hat he wore as Marty DiBergi in This Is Spinal Tap, alternate casting choices for Fezzik, Christine's Princess Bride drinking game, Christine's admiration for Prince Humperdinck's tracking skills, Buttercup Flambe, the Giant Rat from the Doctor Who story "The Talons of Weng-Chiang" getting work as a Rodent of Unusual Size, Xan having a thing for Christopher Guest, our wondering why Ren Fairs are held during the hottest month of the year, alternate casting for Buttercup, William Goldman's original novel having more content than the movie, Xan and Christine's love of Dirty Dancing, Xan and I trying to decide what movie to watch next, and more!
