GHOSTWOOD 101: "The Hidden" Is Up!

"I want to ask you if I'm crazy, or does this seem just a little bizarre?"
"Yeah, it's a little bizarre."
"I knew that. I just wanted to know if you knew that."
-- Tom Beck and Lloyd Gallagher, The Hidden

It is happening again...My co-host with the most Xan Sprouse and I are finally back with a new episode of Ghostwood: The Twin Peaks Podcast!  This time, we begin our retrospective of Twin Peaks Actors in Other Films by discussing The Hidden, the 1987 science fiction horror film directed by Jack Sholder, starring Kyle MacLachlan as Lloyd Gallagher/Alhague, Chris Mulkey as Jack DeVries, Michael Nouri as Detective Thomas Beck, and Claudia Christian as Brenda Lee Van Buren!

LET'S ROCK!

In this episode, Xan, and I discuss things like the lingering chaos that happened to us for the past six weeks, the end of Southgate Media Group and the beginning of Wonderful & Strange Productions, Lori and adopting our new kittens Desire and Delirium, David Bowie having one eye that looks like a different color, Xan considering a Mothra tattoo for her leg, our new retrospective of Twin Peaks Actors in Other Movies, Kyle MacLachlan playing another FBI agent that claims to be from Washington state, the Generation X TV pilot, The Hidden having the potential to be a great TV series, New Line Cinema as "The House That Freddy Built", Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova on Babylon 5, Danny Trejo's cameo as a prisoner, the direct-to-video sequel The Hidden II, Claudia Christian stating that the producers found her breasts visually inadequate, Michael Nouri's terrible career move by turning down the role of Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon, William Boyett being grossed out by the filming of the scene where the alien goes into "his" mouth, the original ending having the alien inside the senator getting away, '80s Ferrari Salesguy doing lines of cocaine in his office with his client, the alien deciding that his dog body isn't working, Gallagher getting shot up with dozens of bullets then lighting up the evil alien with a flamethrower, the ambiguous ending whether Alhague healed Detective Beck or jumped into his dead body, Ghostwood Mail from Justin in Australia, Ken from Chicago recycling an old tweet from 2018, watching Alien in the return of Drunk Cinema with DJ Nik, discussing Carrie next episode featuring Piper Laurie, and more!
