Hello again, everyone!  My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back to discuss "Ascension of the Cybermen", the ninth episode of Doctor Who Series 12, featuring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Patrick O'Kane as Ashad the Lone Cyberman, Ian McElhinney as Ko Sharmus, and Julie Graham as Ravio!

In this episode, Jesse and I discuss things like Captain Grumpy lurking in the background, Cybermen stories starting with the letter "A", the Series 12 finale being a two-hour story chopped right in half, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, Ian McElhinney on Game of Thrones and Krypton, wanting a Doctor Who Trivial Pursuit game, the 11 stories not featuring the TARDIS, the in-joke about humans thinking Gallifrey is in Ireland, the Thirteenth Doctor growing darker since learning Gallifrey was destroyed, why it's important to make things difficult for a heroic character, the Doctor being paired with Ryan, Graham being paired with Yaz, Ko Sharmus being what he appears on the box, Sacha Dhawan's Master being heavily influenced by DC Comics' The Joker, the Cyberman space graveyard, Graham trying to act like the Doctor, the storyline of Brendan in 20th century Ireland, Ashad the Lone Cyberman being a great villain, our favorite quotes of the episode, my Reverse the Polarity segment, new feedback from Holly Mac and David K.
