NEXT STOP EVERYWHERE 068: "The Daleks" is Up!

"We better keep an eye on him.  He seems to have a knack of getting himself into trouble."
– Ian Chesterton to Barbara WrightDoctor Who: "The Daleks"

My partner in time Jesse Jackson and I are back with a new episode of Next Stop Everywhere: The Doctor Who Podcast!  In this episode, we review "The Daleks," the classic story from 1963 starring William Hartnell as the First Doctor, William Russell as Ian Chesterton, Jacqueline Hill as Barbara Wright, and Carole Ann Ford as Susan Foreman!

This time, Jesse and I discuss things like the Cleveland Indians in the 2016 World Series, the fake email saying Hillary Clinton hates Doctor Who, Dalekmania in the U.K., the introduction of the Daleks and Skaro, the audience not knowing that the Daleks are evil, wondering if the Doctor is responsible for unleashing the Daleks on the universe, Ridley Scott almost designing the Daleks, the unflattering depiction of Susan as a panicky teenager, the iconic Doctor Who moment of Barbara meeting a Dalek for the first time, "The Daleks" vs. Peter Cushing's Dr. Who and the Daleks, the various story titles for "The Daleks," my Reverse the Reverse the Polarity segment, why we didn't review the first episode of Class as promisedand more!
