Yeah, you knew this was coming.
The CW series The Flash has officially released pictures of Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays Wally West, finally suited up as the DC Comics superhero Kid Flash. Lonsdale will make his debut as Kid Flash in the Season 3 premiere, "Flashpoint."

In the Season 2 episode "Rupture," Wally West and Jesse Wells were caught in a blast of Speed Force energy from a recreation of the particle accelerator explosion that helped give Barry Allen his powers as The Flash. Both did not show any signs of super-speed by the end of the Season 2 finale "The Race of His Life," but this may change in Season 3.
Something else to consider is that Barry altered the timeline once again in the Season 2 finale, by saving his mother Nora Allen from being murdered by the Reverse-Flash. Because the 2011 DC Comics storyline Flashpoint explored an alternate timeline where Nora Allen's murder was prevented, it seems Wally as Kid Flash may be one of the significant timeline changes.
The Flash returns to The CW for Season 3 on October 4, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
